Apart from delivering free newspapers, my first proper job was in a toy shop. Sounds like it could be fun, but it was run by mean old people who made me clean the toilets and wouldn't let me talk to the other Saturday girl!Nina 18 Jun 2008

...not my first, but definately my worst was sawing bricks in half with an angle grinder in a brick factory. it was so loud that everyone talked in hand signals, the saw was water cooled so i had to wear a full length waterproof suit, it was in the middle of the Australian desert and i'd loose about 8lbs every day, every 5th brick or so would spin out of my hands and id nearlt loose a finger. That said the lunches were nice....Graham 17 Jun 2008
